When I was 6 years old my step-dad introduced me to the game of basketball. Over the years we spent countless hours watching college and professional games together. We discussed the coaching styles of each coach, analyzed the players and broke down all the plays. I started playing organized basketball in 5th grade and continued throughout high school. Although I got a lot of playing time, I also spent a lot of time on the bench next to the coaches. I believe it was there, on the bench, that I realized I would be better served if I focused my attention on studying and teaching the game.

My teaching style is grounded in the basic fundamentals: running, jumping, passing, dribbling and shooting. I believe if you start with and continually work on these skills, you will develop into a player who will be of greater value to the teams on which you play.
